Mississippi Lottery Sends $10.76 Million to State for August
Picayune Powerball Ticket Wins $100,000 by Adding $1 Power Play
FLOWOOD, MISS. – The Mississippi Lottery Corporation transferred $10,762,463.61 to the State of Mississippi for the month of August, bringing the total transferred during the first two months of the fiscal year to $21,158,350.09, continuing a strong start to FY27.
The August transfer brings the Mississippi Lottery’s total contributions to the State to more than $839 million since ticket sales began in November 2019.
Picayune Powerball Ticket Wins $100,000 with Power Play
A Picayune player is just one ticket check away from discovering they’re $100,000 richer. A Powerball ticket purchased at Clark Oil Company 37, matched four of the five white-ball numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing, and thanks to the $1 Power Play add-on, the prize doubled from $50,000 to $100,000.
